The Houston Astros already had one of the best lineups in baseball, but it just recently got better. Woodruff On Mound For Brew Crew
Verlander might be the headlining starting pitcher in this game, but the Brewers have a red-hot pitcher on the mound for them as well. Brandon Woodruff has not lost a start dating back to the beginning of April and just continues to deliver quality starts for his team. Woodruff brings an 8-1 record into this game and has an ERA of just under 4.00. The Brewers also have a dominant closer in Josh Hader and just need a solid six innings from Woodruff in this game.
Christian Yelich continues to put up huge numbers for this Brewers offense. Yelich blasted his league-leading 25th home run on Tuesday night to go along with a batting average over .340. Yasmani Grandal had four runs batted in, including a three-run homer in the ninth inning. The Brewers might not have as deep of a lineup as the Astros, but there is some thunder in there.
