The Minnesota Timberwolves forced Game 7 in the West Conference semis against the Denver Nuggets. They blew away Denver in the previous event, which took place at the Target Center.

Before Betting on Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Denver Nuggets Game 7

This was a huge win for the T-Wolves, not only because of a 45-point margin, but also because they showed teeth against the champions fighting through adversity. Everything was decided in the first quarter, which ended 31-14 for the hosts.

Anthony Edwards scored 27 points in 34 minutes, adding four boards, assists, and three steals. Josh McDaniels had his day, delivering 21 points and four boards, going 8-for-10 from the field. Karl-Anthony Towns ended with a double-double: 10 points and 13 boards, while Rudy Gobert dominated the glass as well with 14 boards.

On the other hand, the Nuggets have a big problem ahead of this event because Jamal Murray’s elbow isn’t in the best shape. He struggled with it in Game 6, and only 10 points, hitting four of his 18 field goal attempts. Jokic had 22 points and nine boards, while Aaron Gordons scored 12 buckets.

This was maybe the Nuggets’ worst performance throughout the playoffs and the entire 2023/24 season. They set several negative records, most of them linked to scoring, but to be honest, they surrendered early on, while the Timberwolves kept pushing at the same pace, trying to boost their morale.

Murray’s shape will have a huge impact on this event, but we are pretty sure that Denver’s physios will do everything to recover their starting point guard. The sole reason we give the Nuggets a slight advantage is the home-court edge, even though Minnesota won the opening two meetings.
