Milwaukee sends former Cy Young award winner Corbin Burnes to the mound on what is expected to be a cold, pitcher-friendly day at Wrigley Field. Burnes’ ERA rose a bit last year, but it was still a solid 2.94 overall and 2.37 in three starts vs. the Cubs (0-1).

Thursday marks the Opening Day debut of Chicago’s marquee offseason signing Dansby Swanson, luring the shortstop away from Atlanta for a 7-year, $177 million deal. Swanson could see some early success considering he is 6-11 (.545) with 2 HRs in his career vs. Burnes.
