- Monday Night Football is reserved for the game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Football Team.
- Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are in massive trouble.
- Meanwhile, the Football Team’s chances for the playoffs have suddenly increased.
The hosts’ playoff prospects have risen following two wins, and the third one in a row would most definitely make the Football Team a true postseason contender.
On the other side, if the Seahawks lose, that would pretty much be the end of their playoff hopes and probably and end of one glorious era.

Seahawks vs. Washington Game Preview
Must-Win for Seattle
If they win, the Seahawks would still have some changes for reaching the postseason. They would be theoretical, but still present. We’ve seen Russell Wilson pulling out a miracle so many times in the past, and that is what the majority of Seahawks fans hope to witness now.
Though, if Alex Collins doesn’t provide some huge stats on the ground, there won’t be any miracle. Seattle’s rushing game has been hideous and for sure the biggest weakness of this unit. Pete Carroll’s side posts 98.4 running yards per game, but we often see the RBs contributing with 40 or 50, which is miserable.
Also, DK Metcalf has to be focused on the game and calm down his emotions. We’ve noticed that the strong WR openly and frequently shows his frustration, and having in mind that he is Wilson’s top target, he has to be composed. Otherwise, there won’t be any help for the Seahawks.
Football Team After Three in a Row
If a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been a lucky turn of events, then beating the Carolina Panthers wasn’t. Without Chase Young, who picked up a season-ending injury, the Football Team pulled out a big win, the one that put him back in the playoff hunt.
Taylor Heinicke was superb, and Ron Rivera sure taught the former backup how to lead his unit in some pretty nasty moments. After all, Heinicke will be the most important player in WFT after Young’s injury, because his team now needs to play high-scoring games.
Young’s injury forces the franchise from DC to change the tactics and the overall game plan, putting additional pressure on the offense. Terry McLaurin and Anotnio Gibson will have an even greater workload, and we’ll see if they manage to endure that.
Seahawks vs. Washington Head to Head
The two sides met last year, and the Seahawks had more success in DC, winning 20-15.
Seahawks vs. Washington Prediction and Pick
What is the biggest difference here is the hosts’ morale and positive atmosphere. Overall, these two sides have more or less a similar quality, with the note that Seattle’s pass game is better, while on the other hand, WFT has an advantage on the ground. We pick the Football Team due to higher morale and a more versatile offense.
