Both Montreal and Atlanta United are in terrible shape, with the hosts having a slightly better record recently. For the moment, they are under the play-in zone yet have the same number of points as the ninth-placed Toronto FC.

Before Betting on Montreal Impact vs. Atlanta United

Only one win in the past seven games is Montreal’s current form, and the only positive thing here, if there is one, are only two losses throughout that stretch, with the Canadians having four ties along the way. After a period of highly efficient matches, Laurent Courtois’ boys had two inefficient events, with two goals.

Overall, they play open games, so it’s no wonder seeing seven of the recent ten ending with both teams netting. They improved at home following a disastrous start, recording two wins and four defeats in the latest six matches.

As for Atlanta, we don’t have too many positive words. The Five Stripes ended their US Open Cup this Tuesday night, as Indy Eleven eliminated them at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium, 1-2. Despite the 70% ball possession and numerous goal attempts, the boys from Georgia lost their third consecutive meeting, and in all of them, we saw at least two goals in their net.

Four of the recent five road trips this unit had were with goals on both ends, yet in general, they aren’t delivering efficient games away from home as seven in the last 10 saw under 2.5 hits.

Montreal Impact vs. Atlanta United Head to Head

There was a club friendly between these units in February this season. Atlanta ended up on the winning side, 2-1. During the previous year we saw them clashing twice, and the Five Stripes won in both situations, 0-1 in Canada and 4-1 at home.
