The current leaders in the Italian top flight will be aiming to extend their advantage at the summit this weekend when they travel to Monza. Inter Milan come into the next round of fixtures in Serie A after winning four of their last five league matches.

Before Betting On Monza vs Inter Milan

There promises to be a thrilling title race in the second half of the Serie A season, as just two points separate the sides in the top two positions in the Italian standings. Inter Milan currently lead the way after winning 15 of their opening 19 matches, but Juventus will be ready to pounce if they drop points this weekend. Inter have been the standout side so far this term, as they lead the division in terms of goals scored and fewest goals conceded.

Monza will not make life easy for the visitors this weekend, as they will also be targeting a late charge for a European finish in the second half of the season. At present, they sit eleventh in the standings, but they could move into the top half with a success this weekend. Monza are unbeaten in their last two, which includes a victory in their latest match in the competition.

Inter failed to beat Monza in both fixtures last term, but they landed success on the opening day of the 2023-24 season against their rivals following two efforts from Lautaro Martinez. Meanwhile, Monza have failed to land a victory in their last five home matches against Inter across all competitions. In those matches, they have allowed at least one goal per game.

Monza’s home record was strong at the start of the season after going six without a defeat, but they have now suffered losses in two of their previous three. Inter also come into the weekend in red-hot form after collecting 48 points at the half way stage of the season for just the third time in their history.
