The NASCAR playoffs continue this weekend, as the second race in the round of 16 stage comes in the form of the Go Bowling at The Glen. It is the penultimate road race of the season, and the field will be battling for important points in the race to finish in the top 12 positions.

Before Betting On Go Bowling at The Glen

The Go Bowling at The Glen will be the 28th race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule this season, and it forms one of the few road races on the calendar for 2024. It will be staged at the Watkins Glen International circuit in New York, and it has been contested since 1957. It has been known by its current name since 2018, with the field completing a total of 90 laps to cover the 220.86-mile race distance.

Tony Stewart is the most successful driver in the history of the event with five victories, while Hendrick Motorsports is the dominant team with eleven victories. An exciting announcement for the race was revealed for this season, as it will form the second race of the round of 16 in the playoffs for the first time. William Byron landed victory in this race in 2023, giving Hendrick Motorsports a fifth straight success in the race.

It all changed at the top of the standings last weekend following an eventful Quaker State 400, with Kyle Larson dropping to tenth in the overall table after crashing out. Joey Logano landed victory in the race last Sunday, lifting the driver up to fifth in the standings. That was his second win of the season.

The top six in the current standings all claimed top-ten finishes in the Quaker State 400 last weekend, including Ryan Blaney, who moved to the summit after finishing third for the second time in six races. However, Christopher Bell could be the in-form driver after finishing in the top four for the third race running.
