The Utah Jazz saw more trouble against the Memphis Grizzlies than most would expect. It seems that Taylor Jenkins’ crew is matured much earlier than predicted and that a win over the Golden State Warriors only boosted their morale. It is why the Jazz absolutely needs to win Game 4 and avoid any complications in the further part of this series. If they by any chance allow the Grizzlies to post a victory on Monday night, this matchup could easily reach Game 7. And that is something no No.1 seed wants to experience.

Spida Returning to Normal
Donovan Mitchell skipped Game 1, and that made him very, very angry. He was all over the media, not hiding his dissatisfaction for not being cleared for the initial match of the series. Such a scenario only fueled the young guard, who roared his way back on the floor.
Mitchell drops 27 points per game, but to be perfectly clear here, the best player of the Jazz in the playoffs so far is Mike Conley. It could be that the veteran point guard has an additional motive to play against his former team. Conley plays more than 35 minutes each night, delivering 23 points, 11.3 assists, and 5.3 rebounds.
Right behind is the Bojan Bogdanovic, the X-factor with 20.7 and 4.7 dimes, 4 boards. Overall, Utah has two more guys contributing a lot offensively, Rudy Gobert with 15.7 points and Jordan Clarkson, who has 15.
Fantastic Ja Morant
The latest Rookie of the Year Award winner is doing wonders in these playoffs and play-in tournaments. Morant pours 33.7 points per game against the Jazzers, who simply don’t have any solution on how to stop this guy. Ja already mastered everything one superstar guard needs to have, and we are free to say that this young fellow might be an MVP candidate in a year or two.
Though, this wouldn’t be possible without his excellent teammates. Dillon Brooks averages 27 ppg vs. Jazz, and Jonas Valanciunas adds 14.3 with 10.3 boards which is a very respectable figure once realizing that he faces Rudy Gobert, arguably the best defensive player in the last decade.
The reason for Memphis’ loss in game three was the lousy three-point shooting, as Grizzlies made just 13 shots in 41 attempts, a much lower percentage than the Jazz – 19 in 43 tries.
