It hasn’t been the best week or so for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they come into this fixture against Los Angeles Lakers having lost their last three in the NBA. The Bucks have still won seven of their last ten in the NBA, but the gap between themselves and the top two in the Eastern Conference is only getting wider at present. The Bucks remain one of the most dangerous sides in the East, but this will be a big challenge for them to overcome this week. Milwaukee’s last three defeats have come against the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers.
They were beaten 129-105 by the Clippers in their last game, which was despite an excellent opening period that saw them pull ahead to a 38-26 lead. However, the Bucks scored just 17 in the second, and 19 in the fourth, which left their chances of picking up the win very slim. The Clippers were able to pull ahead in the fourth, as they outscored the Bucks 33-19. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 for the Bucks in the defeat, while Jrue Holiday had 24. Khris Middleton was the only other Bucks player to score 10 or more points, as he ended with 15.
Lakers Looking For Third Straight Win
The top of the Western Conference is getting very tight The Utah Jazz still lead the win, as they have a win percentage of .761. However, the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers have been in excellent form, which leaves the Lakers down in fourth. The Lakers have won six of their previous ten games in the NBA, and will be hoping for a third straight success against the Bucks on Wednesday night. The Lakers were more efficient than entertaining in their last outing, as they came out on top against the Orlando Magic.
Without Anthony Davis and LeBron James, the Lakers ran out 96-93 winners. Dennis Schroder carried the heavy load for the Lakers, as he scored 24 points, six assists and five rebounds. Kyle Kuzma finished with 21 points and eleven rebounds, while Montrezi Harrell and Markieff Morris also ended with double-doubles. It was also revealed this week that the Lakers have added two-time All Star Andre Drummond to their roster for the remainder of the season. He could play a part against the Bucks on Wednesday evening.

The Lakers have been performing well despite being without their two biggest stars in their last two wins. However, this will be a much bigger challenge for them against a talented Bucks side.
