There’s a huge National Basketball Association game on Saturday afternoon, as the Oklahoma City Thunder are on the road at the Cleveland Cavaliers. While neither are the top team in their conference, but they are both contenders. The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the road in this game, where they have won just 9 out of 22 games. The Thunder are 5th in the West with their 25-20 record. They trail Minnesota by just 3 games for the fourth seed.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off a win over the Orlando Magic at home. Cleveland at home this season have won 16 out of 21 games. Overall, the Cavaliers are 27-17, but have dropped 3 out of their last 10 games. The Cavaliers come into this game as a rare underdog at home. The Cleveland Cavaliers are -3.5 over the Oklahoma City Thunder  in the NBA on Saturday afternoon.

Cavaliers Looking to Play Better

The Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled as of late, with their four game losing streak. The 104-103 win over the Magic came after having a 20 point first half lead. The lead in the Central Division for the Cavaliers has dropped to just 3.5 games over the Pacers, and 4 over the Milwaukee Bucks,

The Cavaliers are led in scoring once again by LeBron James. James is scoring more than 27 points per game, while recording 8 rebounds and dishing out just shy of 9 assists per game. The Cavaliers also are getting 19 points per game and nearly 10 rebounds from Kevin Love. The Cavaliers are seeking their fourth straight trip to the NBA Finals.

Thunder Looking for Fourth Straight Win

The Oklahoma City Thunder have started to play much better basketball as of late. The Thunder still struggle on the road, as they have won just 9 out of 22 games, but they have won three straight overall. The Thunder won in Charlotte, then came home and beat the Kings and Lakers. The Thunder are scoring 104.3 points per game and allowing just 100.8.

Russell Westbrook, coming off his MVP season of a year ago is scoring 24.8 points per game, and ripping down 9.7 rebounds per game, while also dishing out 9.9 assists per game. The Thunder won 47 games in their first season without Kevin Durant, and lost in the first round of the postseason to Houston.

Thunder Win on the Road

This should be an excellent Saturday afternoon game. Something does not seem right with Isaiah Thomas and the Cleveland Cavaliers right now. They are not playing well enough to beat good teams. Sure, they had a chance in a recent loss to the Warriors, but overall, things are not clicking right for Cleveland. The Cavaliers go against an Oklahoma City team that will be out for blood.
