A pair of teams in the NBA will get together Tuesday night with a talent of talent on the floor. The Washington Wizards take their show on the road to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Washington has struggled as of late, losing back to back games – and they are 7th in the Eastern Conference with a 10-9 record.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming off a win on Sunday, and improved to 12-8. That record places them tied with Portland for fourth in the Western Conference. The Timberwolves are 7-3 when playing at home this season. The Minnesota Timberwolves are -4.5 at MyBookie in this National Basketball Association affair on Wednesday.

Timberwolves Look to Keep Surging

Tom Thibeadeau and his Minnesota Timberwolves are scoring 108.1 points per game, and allowing 108.3 per game. The Timberwolves added Jeff Teague and Jimmy Butler to go along with Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony Towns in the offseason. The Timberwolves are led by Towns and his 21 points per game. He also leads the team in rebounds.

In the recent win over the Suns, the big man from Kentucky scored 32 points and ripped down 12 rebounds. The Timberwolves recorded a season high 19 offensive rebounds and scored 66 points in the paint. The Timberwolves have moved to 19th in rebounding, something Coach Thibeadeu would like to improve on.

Washington Without Wall

The Washington Wizards would like to get back on track. Not only have the Wizards lost back to back games, but also four out of their last five. The last win for Washington was over Milwaukee. The Wizards are tied with the Miami Heat at the top of the Southeast standings, and 2 games ahead of Charlotte.

Washington is led by their guard duo of John Wall and Bradley Beal, but Wall will not play in this game. Beal leads the team with 24 points per game, while Wall is just over 20 and dishing out 9.2 assists per game. Wall will sit this game and several more with a left knee injury. The Wizards are scoring 108.3 points per game, while allowing opponents to score 104.5. Washington is looking to get back to the postseason for the second season in a row and fourth out of the last five weeks.

Minnesota Downs Washington

Look for the Washington Wizards to continue to struggle without the services of John Wall. Bradley Beal should be able to get his, but in the end, without the engine that runs the offense, the Wizards are not going to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves. The final bet for the Tuesday night National Basketball Association affair is the Minnesota Timberwolves -3 over the Washington Wizards. Bet on the Minnesota Timberwolves -4.5 over the Baltimore Ravens at MyBookie.
