Suns vs Lakers Preview
The LA Lakers will host the Phoenix Suns in arguably the most interesting NBA match this Tuesday night. The Lakers are playing better now following a stretch that saw them losing five games in six events, but they will be heavily tested against the surging Suns.
The franchise from Phoenix is looking unstoppable for now and is aiming to attack both teams from LA in the standings. Another thing that spices up this contest is the clash of two veterans, LeBron on one and Chris Paul on the other side.

Suns vs Lakers Odds
Phoenix’s Rise
Over the past 17 games, Booker, Paul, and the rest of the crew posted 14 wins and just three losses. They recently experienced a defeat at home against the Charlotte Hornets but immediately responded with two wins in a row, both away from home.
The first one was in Chicago, against the Bulls, 106-97, and after that vs the sorry Timberwolves in Minnesota, 118-99. Devin Booker dropped 43 points in that latter match, continuing his terror over the defensive players in the league.
So far this year, the sharpshooting forward averages 25.5 points, with 50.1% shooting from the field, and 36.7% from downtown. Along with that, he has 4.3 assists and 3.6 boards, all that in 34.3 minutes spent on the floor. He is one of the candidates for the All-NBA First Team if Phoenix’s and his performances continue.
Lakers Adjusting to Living Without AD
Anthony Davis’ injury is something that hit hard both the Lakers’ fans and the team. Without arguably the best big man in the league, the purple and gold are much easier prey for all the rivals, and we saw that in the first few games after Davis’ injury.
They had a four-game skid, during which LAL lost to Nets, Heat, Wizards, and the Jazz. After that, the champs defeated the Blazers, 102-93, and the Golden State Warriors, 117-91. It is needless to say that LeBron runs everything in Davis’s absence. He is the point guard, the scorer, the defender, the low-post player, pretty much everything.
It is no wonder why many see him as the best player in the league and the top contender for the MVP award. LBJ has 25.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game, all that in 35.8 minutes while shooting 50.4% from the field.
Suns vs Lakers Head to Head
Phoenix lost all three matches last year against the Lakers, but the situation is much different now than then.
Suns vs Lakers Pick and Prediction
The line for the total number of points is set at 212.5, which is too low in our opinion. The Lakers’ defense is very good, but do know that the Suns score 121.5 points in the previous 10 games. The Lakers can’t stop them from breaching the 110-point limit, and they will jump over the same, in our opinion. So, betting over the proposed line is, in our opinion, the best solution for this event.
