Duke (21-8) is not going to catch the front runners for the ACC regular season crown, but this is a team that is really starting to put things together towards the end of the year and could make some noise in the postseason tournaments. NC State (22-8) is hoping to catch the Blue Devils in a look-ahead game and boost their own tournament resume in the process.

There have been some ups and downs for Jon Scheyer in his first year after taking over coaching duties from Hall of Famer Mike Krzyzewski, but Duke is playing well down the stretch with wins in 7 of their last 9. Terquavion Smith and Jarkel Joiner combined for 45 points in that matchup while D.J. Burns, Jr. added 18 so the Wolfpack have some big scoring upside here.
