During non conference play, the Bison lost back to back games at Alabama and Texas, which were the big games. They also then lost at Tennessee a little later in the season. The Bison went through the conference season splitting their two games with Florida Gulf Coast. This is the first ever NCAA Tournament trip for Lipscomb.
