The Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Brooklyn Nets this Monday night. The way these two teams play this year, we should have seen them in prime time on Christmas Day, but them playing the day after won’t decrease our thrill.

Before betting on Nets vs. Cavaliers

Kevin Durant and his crew have nine wins in the past ten games, and it is safe to say that the Nets play maybe the best basketball in the league right now. They average 120 points throughout that span, with more than 53% of shooting.

Brooklyn was better than the Milwaukee Bucks in the most recent clash, 118-100. It was the eighth consecutive victory for the Nets, in which Kevin Durant scored 24 points while Nic Claxton added 19. Kyrie had 18 and nine boards plus six dimes, while Ben Simmons fell short of a triple-double – 12 points, 11 boards, and 8 assists.

The Cavs are, too, in excellent form, winning seven of the past ten games. They would lose the most recent, against the Toronto Raptors at home, which was their first defeat following five consecutive triumphs.

Donovan Mitchell had one of the worst performances this year, scoring 12 points, 3-for-12 from three-point territory. Darius Garland led the way for the Cavs with 17, and Isaac Okoro scored 16.

The Nets’ games saw over in six of the latest eight cases, and the Cavaliers’ four in the recent five events. These teams are solid on the defensive side, but 220.5 points are way too low for the offensive potential on both ends, which is why we go with Over.
