The Revs had been beaten the previous Saturday by the New York Red Bulls on the road, 2-1, losing for the first time since late May and seven consecutive meetings. Bruce Arena’s boys haven’t been confident during this streak, winning only three games and posting four draws.

We have to say that United didn’t play some extraordinary football in Montreal, but they deserved to beat the hosts.

The Revs have been much better at home than on the road, and their game is more offensive-minded at the Gillette Stadium.
