The Aggies started the season 3-0 before losing six straight games up to their last contest. They won a thrilling overtime matchup against New Mexico, getting a huge game from Christian Cook, who dropped 27 points, hit six threes, and went 6-9 from deep.
To upset the Longhorns, though, they will need Cook to replicate that performance, plus get some help. If Zawdie Jackson can have a big game alongside Cook, that would be an ideal starting point. Texas will not lose two in a row, especially against a smaller school in this matchup. The Aggies have some momentum and may come out hot and keep it close for a half. Eventually, the Longhorns will outpace them in the 2nd half and win this one by 20+ at home.
