A new television media deal is in the works for the National Basketball Association. After spending the last 35 years with TNT, the NBA will be moving to some new networks for at least the next decade, starting in 2024.

NBA Media Deal – Breakdown

The NBA’s long-term television media deal expired in 2023. Since 1989, professional basketball games have aired on networks under the TNT umbrella. Despite the long-term success of the deal, the NBA is moving forward with a new deal that will leave TNT out of the mix. The deal will continue to include ESPN, as well as adding NBC and Amazon, and is expected to run for 11 years and be worth a total of $76 billion.
