- The San Francisco 49ers will visit the LA Rams in the NFC Championship Game.
- The rams were better than Tampa Bay on the road, while the 49ers eliminated the Packers at Lambeau.
- The two division rivals already met twice this year.
Two NFC West foes are about to face one another for the third time this year. Only, this game will be the most important so far. The appearance in the Super Bowl is at stake, and a victory in this event would erase everything that happened before.

Game Preview
49ers on the Rampage
There isn’t a better team in the league over the past two months than the 49ers, and that is a fact. Something just clicked in their game, and the 49ers started rolling over the rivals. Of course, there has been a certain dose of luck involved, but overall, Kyle Shanahan’s unit just keeps on rolling.
Jimmy Garoppolo has solid numbers, yet his mistakes are massive. But even that can’t stop SF from winning. Deebo Samuel and Elijah Mitchell are way too good, and they cover up everything their QB messes up.
Also, the defense is fantastic, as well as the special team. Arik Armstead had two sacks on Aaron Rodgers, the same as Nick Bosa, and they are terrorizing the rivals’ offensive lines in the last couple of weeks. Check this out they limited the Packs to 10 points and the Cowboys to 17, indicating that Matt Stafford might have a very tough time next Sunday.
Rams One Win Away From a Dream
Last year the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl at home, and the Rams have the same idea now. But they are one win away from that. Stafford and the boys defeated the Arizona Cardinals and the Bucs in the playoffs due to excellent offense, scoring 34 points vs Cards and 30 in Tampa Bay.
They would overcome Tom Brady’s comeback in the final few minutes of the match. As usual, Cooper Kupp was there to help as he got a 44-yard reception in the last moments of the event, that would allow Matt Gay to score a 30-yard walk-off field goal.
Kupp was unreal with 183 receiving yards, one a TD, while Odell Beckham moved the chains on a few occasions collecting 69 receiving yards on six catches. Stafford was also excellent with 366 passing yards, two tosses for a TD, one rushing TD, without interceptions.
Head to Head Games
The most recent meeting took place four weeks ago, and the 49ers beat the Rams at SoFi, 27-24 following an OT. The first clash was in SF, and the hosts obliterated the Rams, 31-10. By the way, the 49ers defeated the Rams in the previous six contests.
49ers vs Rams Predictions and Picks
The only team in the league that can match the Rams’ physicality at the line of scrimmage is San Francisco. Mitchell, Samuel, Juszczyk, all of them can run through the Rams’ defense and hurt them pretty badly. The main thing here will be Jimmy G. If he doesn’t have too many of his stupidities, the 49ers are through. If he, on the other hand, has… well, the Rams will be in the game.
Pick: 49ers win
