With the NFL trade deadline quickly approaching rumors are heating up about possible trades so we take a look at some of the players that could move.

Broncos Getting Offers for Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders of the Denver Broncos could be on the move before the NFL trade deadline. The deadline is on October 29th at 4 p.m. ET. A lot of teams in the league are looking for a wide receiver and Sanders is still a very good player. While his production might have dipped, he isn’t exactly in the ideal situation for a wide receiver.

Sanders hasn’t had a good QB since Peyton Manning and even then, Manning was obviously not the same player with his arm strength basically gone in that last season. Sanders has slowed himself after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in December. He’s also 32 years old now but on a contender with a better quarterback, he still has enough ability to be a key piece at wide receiver.

A.J Green Needs a Change of Scenery

While the Broncos are reportedly getting calls, the rest of my list of players that should be traded. Few players in the league need a change of scenery before the NFL trade deadline more than A.J Green of the Cincinnati Bengals. The team is going nowhere and that has been the story for most of his All Pro career. The fact that he has managed to be one of the NFL’s best wide receivers while surrounded by such mediocrity is a testament to how talented he is.

The last few seasons of his career have been ravaged by injury. At this point, the Bengals need to move on from his salary because as good as he is, he’s not enough to make this franchise a contender. As for him, his Hall of Fame career deserves a chapter where he plays NFL games that matter. He needs playoff football and playoff football needs him. He’s a free agent in 2019 anyway but he needs to go ASAP.

The Redskins Should Move on from Trent Williams

Simply put, the Washington Redskins are a dumpster fire. They need to set the reset button by NFL trade deadline and that starts with moving some of their few valuable pieces and going young. It’s hardly possible for them to be worse so this move makes sense. This franchise is in turmoil from top to bottom and should clean house.

One of their best assets is Left Tackle Trent Williams. He is still a valuable piece and literally more than half the league needs a good left tackle. This move seems like a no brainer but whoever is making the decisions in Washington can’t really seem to get things right. They could get a few drafts picks at the very least for a proven veteran that has something left in the tank. There’s a reason that Left Tackles get big money in today’s NFL. There aren’t a lot of them and they protect the most important position in all of team sports. The Redskins need to stop wasting time and make a move.
