The Las Vegas Raiders and the LA Chargers will square off at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in an AFC West divisional matchup. This will be Jim Harbaugh’s big comeback to the league after a big pause, which undoubtedly creates buzz in the NFL community.
Before Betting on Raiders vs. Chargers
We really do love the Raiders. They’ve added so much talent during the draft, and we can say without any hesitation now that as soon as they find a good quarterback, the front office needs to make a move and form a team that has the potential to become a contender in a few years. Right now, with Gardner Minshew, that’s all shaky. However, head coach Antonio Pierce is willing to give Minshew Mania a chance in Las Vegas.
When talking about Pierce, he did pretty well last year, taking over the team and posting a positive record in nine games, 5-4. The management didn’t want to search for another HC because they believed in him and his work, so he, too, might be a surprise.
The Chargers finally moved on from Brandon Staley, who wasted a couple of years and several players in their prime. Experienced Jim Harbaugh is in charge now, and we can’t wait to see Justin Herbert under his leadership. However, things won’t be easy for Herbert because both of his favorite targets, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, are gone, as is Austin Ekeler.
Harbaugh has a different system in mind, and his focus will shift towards defense a bit. Harbaugh knows that Herbert’s talent isn’t enough to win games, particularly now, and this is where we believe that his brilliant mind might come up with surprises.
Raiders vs. Chargers Head to Head
The Raiders and the Chargers have one of the greatest rivalries in the NFL. They’ve met 129 times, with the record being in favor of the Silver and Black 69-58 with two ties.
Last year, the Chargers won at home, 24-17, but the Raiders humiliated the LAC at the Allegiant Stadium, 63-21.

There are too many changes among the Chargers that we can’t rely on them in this event, even with Minshew as the starter for the Raiders. We are betting on the guests mainly because of LAC’s restructuring. They still need more time to click, and that’s why we take the Raiders here as one of the upsets in the opening round.
