Both the Tennessee Titans and the Chicago Bears are beginning a new era. The Titans officially handed the torch to Will Lewis, while the Bears did the same, placing the franchise’s future in the hands of the No.1 overall pick, Caleb Williams.

Before Betting on the Titans vs. Bears

There’s been plenty of changes in Tennessee this summer. The most important thing is that Derrick Henry is gone, and the entire system is now different after his departure. Tony Pollard will try to fill in his shoes, but what we especially love seeing here is Calvin Ridley’s arrival. He has the potential to be fantastic when paired with Lewis.

The Titans are coming to Soldier Field with three preseason wins, and even though that doesn’t have to mean anything, it is quite the morale booster.

Young Caleb Williams is viewed as the savior in Chicago. Now, that’s quite a lot of pressure for a 22-year-old guy, but that’s pro football. Though, we have to say that the Bears did everything to help Williams, putting up a very nice unit around him by adding two excellent targets – WR Keenan Allen and the 9th overall pick, WR Rome Odunze.

Chicago’s entire offense was upgraded, while the defensive side of the ball saw few changes. Looking at last year’s performances, the defense was more consistent and reliable than the Justin Fields-led offense; therefore, it didn’t need such a big reconstruction.

Titans vs. Bears Head to Head

The all-time series record is slightly on the Titans’ side, with them winning seven games and Chicago one fewer. The last encounter was in 2020, when Tennesse ended up victorious 24-17.

I’m gonna hand it to you: this one wasn’t easy to predict, but we will take some risk here and go with the Titans defending the spread. We do believe in Williams’ talent, yet Lewis has more games under his belt. Since this is Caleb’s first game, plus it’s at home with a completely new offense, we somehow believe that the Titans have a chance to beat the odds and make a surprise. They have nothing to lose and don’t feel the pressure unlike the Bears. For more NFL picks follow the link.
