The Washington Football Teams will have a mission impossible this Monday night, as they meet the undefeated Steelers at Heinz Field. Even though Mike Tomlin’s guys didn’t have enough time to rest because their week is shortened, Pittsburgh is still a massive favorite coming into this event. The guests from DC are in a very nasty situation, so close to the playoffs, yet so far away. At the moment, they are behind the New York Giants at the top of the NFC East, with the same record, but negative head to head.

Football Team Growing As Time Goes By
These guys really get it going as the season went by, and they shifted into a higher gear since Alex Smith came back. Yes, yes, in case you forgot, Smith is back, and he plays at a solid level.
Even though he has just three TD passes along with five interceptions, the former No.1 pick, now already a veteran, brought calmness and experience in the huddle, and it is no wonder why Football Team has 3-2 with him as the starter.
Of course, we need to mention the fantastic duo that emerged this year, WR Terry McLaurin and RB Antonio Gibson. The two are simply astonishing. Gibson has 645 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns and is arguably among the top three candidates to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. McLaurin has 963 receiving yards and three TDs, and is one of the nicest surprises in the league.
Steelers’s Resting Problems
The situation with the game against the Ravens was finally sorted out on Wednesday when the Steelers finished the same. A narrow 19-14 victory against the shorthanded divisional rivals, wasn’t the real reflection of Pittsburgh’s strength. The entire team was frustrated with the constant delay, and with the fact that they had to reschedule the match for the second time this year.
To add more frustration, LB Bud Dupree injured his ACL, and it seems that he ended this season. The Steelers now have to find a replacement for this guy, which is tough.
Overall, the match against the Ravens wasn’t a shiny example of Steelers’ capabilities, especially when talking about Big Ben. He had 36 completions in 51 tries, for 266 yards, a pick, and a TD toss.

The hosts to win and cover the spread is more than realistic, even though Tomlin’s guys didn’t have any rest, and they lost Dupree. Washington’s defense is much weaker than the Ravens’. Therefore we believe that Pittsburgh’s win by a larger margin than proposed is a sure thing.
