Arizona is in a tough place right now, entering a bad mode in the worst possible moment of the year. In the situation when the playoffs are on the line, Kyler Murray and the guys posted four losses in five events. Meanwhile, the Giants woke up, and are topping the NFC East. They would beat the Seahawks in Seattle, making a first-class sensation. Just to add, Joe Judge’s boys appeared without QB Daniel Jones.

Murray’s Test
We haven’t seen the last year’s No.1 pick doing anything worth mentioning in the previous game against the Rams. Cards lost that one, which was a huge setback for their playoff wins, especially because the team from LA is their direct rival in the NFC West division.
Murray rushed for 61 yards in the past three events, all of them ending with his team losing. This is the exact number of yards he had in the match against the Bills, which saw him throwing that Hail Mary bomb to DeAndre Hopkins. So, this is the key to the Cards’ triumph. He needs to step up and find his rhythm once it comes to establishing a rushing game.
Other RBs were cut off against the Rams, with the best one being Kenyan Drake with just 49 yards on 10 snaps. Overall, Arizona had 92 yards on the round in that event.
Giants Doing Unexpected Things
Even with Daniel Jones in the lineup, the Giants weren’t expected to defeat the Seahawks. With Colt McCoy, that wasn’t even considered. But in the end, the boys from NY somehow took down one of the best teams in the league, limiting it to just 12 points.
Giants’ fantastic defense was at the highest possible lever, sacking Russell Wilson five times, Leonard Williams being the one who was the most agile when hunting one of the MVP candidates, earning 2.5 sacks. The Giants also forced Wilson to lose one fumble and 47 yards after being hit.
Wayne Gallman was giving the rhythm in the offense, having 16 runs, and 135 yards. Even though he didn’t have a score, there is no doubt that the 26-year old presented the focal piece in the guests’ gameplan. By the way, NY had 190 rushing yards.

Arizona posted three straight against the Giants; the last one being during the 2019 season. Cards were better in New York, 27-21, with Chase Edmonds recording three rushing TDs and 126 yards on the ground.

The guests are slight favorites, and need to cover a 2.5-point spread. Jones’ status is still no clear enough, and right now, the sources are claiming that he won’t be eligible to play.
