Seattle Seahawks at Washington Football Team
This one is biiiiig. The Seahawks travel to DC to meet the resurrected Football Team, who suddenly became a contender to win the NFC East and clinch a playoff berth. Alex Smith’s comeback proved to be a crucial thing for Ron Rivera’s boys, and the veteran QB is leading his team to success. Meanwhile, the Seahawks recently had an unpleasant experience with one team from this division, and we are more than positive that Pete Carroll’s crew will have a much better sense of urgency this time.

Seattle Cautious
The Seahawks suffered a loss recently, that could be a season-defining for them. New York Giants rolled in town, without Daniel Jones, and went home with a victory that provided them the No.1 spot in the division. After seeing the FC beating the Steelers on the road, and having a bad experience themselves, Wilson and the guys will be very, very cautious.
In the previous round, Seattle practiced against the poor Jets, trashing the winless guests from New York, 40-3. Wilson had four touchdowns, Chris Carson ran for one, while DK Metcalf continued his terror, adding one more score to his tally.
The Jets are not a competitive team, but still, scoring 40 and allowing 3 points is good for boosting the morale, even if it is against one of the worst units in the past few decades.
The “Smith” Factor
Since the former (prehistoric, some might say) No.1 pick came back on the field, the Football Team flourished. Right now, they have four straight victories. Some would believe that Rivera’s team relied upon the offense in those matches, but the results are saying differently.
Washington didn’t allow more than 17 points during this victorious stretch. We are sure that when it comes directly to doing something on the field, Smith doesn’t have a big impact here. But his confidence and charisma pumped up the entire team. We now see Chase Young destroying rivals, the same as the rest of the defensive crew. He and Kamren Curl delivered the TDs for Washington against the 49ers.
Smith posted three TDs and three picks in those four wins, and even though that is mediocre for any QB in the league, his presence on the field impacts the FC n the best possible way. The former 49er and Chief left the game against his former team, but he will be ready for Seattle according to various sources.
Seahawks at Washington Head to Head
Washington won back in 2017 in the last meeting of these two sides, 17-14.
Seahawks at Washington Pick
The guests are -5.5-point favorites, but we won’t go with any bets regarding the winner of this contest. It could go either way, really. Our focus is on the total number of points, which is 44.5 in the moments of writing this text. Even though the Football Team has an exceptional defense lately, this is over for us, because they haven’t had a chance to meet the offense such as Seahawks’. We primarily mean here on Wilson and Metcalf. That is something which will force them to score more points.
