Aaron Rodgers was again on Monday Night Football last week, yet he and his Jets lost and are now visiting the Tennessee Titans in search of redemption. Titans had a nice chance to win on the road in Chicago, but returned home empty-handed.
Before Betting on Jets vs. Titans
Even without CMC, the 49ers were too strong for the Jets, winning at Levi’s Stadium 32-19. NYJ’s run defense fell apart, allowing 180 yards on the ground to the hosts and two touchdowns. Jordan Mason had 147 yards alone and one score, presenting an enigma for the guests.
Meanwhile, the Jets had 68 rushing yards, Breece Hall 54 of those with a tuochdown. Aaron Rodgers threw for 167 yards, one pick, and one TD. Tyrod Taylor had his minutes, which he used for one TD toss. Interestingly, Allen Lazard was the target both times.
Tennessee had a 17-0 lead in Chicago yet squandered all that. Will Lewis led his team perfectly in the first halftime, but the youngster stiffed when it mattered the most, throwing two interceptions in the vital situations, thus handing the win to the Bears.
The Titans ran the ball very well, posting 140 yards, with Tony Pollard delivering 82 and a TD. However, their defense disappeared in the worst possible moment, allowing insecure Caleb Williams to lead the team to a win.
Jets vs. Titans Head to Head
The Titans have the all-time series advantage, 25-20, with one game ending without a winner. The last clash was in 2021, when the Jets won after overtime at home, 27-24.
Jets vs. Titans NFL Week 2 Offshore Betting Odds & Picks
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Jets | -195 | -3.5 | 41.5 |
Titans | +165 | +3.5 | 41.5 |
We liked the Titans in Chicago, even though they lost in the end. Yet the first halftime showed us their quality and potential, which is why we are willing to take a risk here and bet on them to defend the spread. Plus, the hype about the Jets is way bigger than they really are good, especially that O-line, in which we don’t have such belief as others.
