LA Rams hit the road once again, and this time, Matt Stafford and the boys head to Arizona, where they meet the division rivals, the Cardinals.
Before Betting on the Rams vs. Cardinals
The Rams lost to the Lions in Detroit following an overtime. Every OT defeat is very painful for the team, regardless of what happened during the match, but the group from LA doesn’t have too much time to lament. Overall, they played well and showed quality.
Stafford threw for 317 yards, one TD, and was picked once. Cooper Kupp caught one TD and had 110 receiving yards, while Tyler Johnson notched 79. Aaron Donald’s retirement left a void in the defense, so only two sacks and three QB hits for the Rams here are understandable.
The Cards were up 17-3 in Buffalo, and they lost. It was frustrating for Arizona’s fans to watch the third period, in which the Bills flipped the score, not allowing the Cards to come back.
Kyler Murray was limited, having thrown only 162 yards for one TD, and he fumbled the ball once. He did run five times for 57 yards, but overall, Arizona’s ground game wasn’t good because all the other rushers combined for 67 years and one TD, which was James Conner’s.
Rams vs. Cardinals Head to Head
The Rams were better than the Cards in both matches last year, winning at home 26-9 and on the road 37-14. The team from LA has a 50-40-2 overall record in the all-time series.
Rams vs. Cardinals NFL Week 2 Offshore Betting Odds & Picks
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Rams | -125 | -2 | 47.5 |
Cardinals | +105 | +2 | 47.5 |
No matter what everyone says, the LA Rams are a higher-quality team. And that especially goes for the offensive unit. However, the defense is kind of new, and they’ll have to develop, which might give the Cardinals a chance here. Due to that and the venue, we won’t be betting on the Rams but on over 47.5 points, which is the totals line.
