The Pittsburgh Steelers play back-to-back games on the road, and their next destination is Mile High, where they face the Denver Broncos.
Before Betting on the Steelers vs. Broncos
Chris Boswell’s job is to hit field goals. He was perfect against the Falcons on the road, converting all six of his hits from the field and bringing the Steelers a touchdown-less victory. Of course, the Steelers defense has been at the highest possible level here, killing Kirk Cousins and his Falcons offense.
They hit Captain Kirk seven times, giving him an experience he won’t forget anytime soon. Plus, he was picked twice, once by Donte Jackson, who returned the ball 49 yards. Justin Fields was OK, 17-for-23 for 156 yards; not too great, but certainly not bad.
Denver had a chance to triumph in Seattle, but their run defense collapsed in the crucial moments, allowing Kenneth Walker III to run 103 yards and a TD, with Geno Smith also adding one score on the ground. With that and the fact that Bo Nix didn’t play near his level, the final result was reasonable.
Nix threw two picks, 138 yards, and had no passing touchdowns. He did manage to get one on the ground by himself, but overall, his performance wasn’t satisfying. The Broncos recorded two safeties, which is a rarity in the NFL, yet in the end, that didn’t make them much happier.
Steelers vs. Broncos Head to Head
Broncos had more success than the Steelers in the all-time series, winning 20 games, Steelers 13, and one ended with a tie. The last meeting was in 2021, in Pittsburgh, where the home team won 27-19.
Steelers vs. Broncos NFL Week 2 Offshore Betting Odds & Picks
Team | Moneyline | Spread | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Steelers | -150 | -3 | 40.5 |
Broncos | +130 | +3 | 40.5 |
The Steelers’ defense is fantastic, and we can say more or less the same for the Broncos’ when playing at Mile High. That’s why we won’t bother looking for anything else but under 40.5 points because this game screams “low efficiency” all over the place.
