Sunday’s game between the Buccaneers and the Patriots will be one of the most interesting and anticipating in the history of this sport. Tom Brady is coming to the place where he won six Super Bowl titles to face his mentor Bill Belichick.
These two apparently didn’t say goodbye to one another two years ago, and we’ll see how everything ends up now.

Brady Comes Back, Gronk Injured
Tampa lost last week in LA, 34-24, but they had several players ruled out due to injuries. This time, Bruce Arians won’t have Rob Gronkowski at disposal, because of his rib injury. The three-time Super Bowl champion is out, which will present a big problem for the Buccaneers. Gronk had three TDs in four opening matches.
As for Brady, everyone expects to see his meeting with Bill. To be honest, we believe that the two will have a normal conversation and appearance, regardless of all the alleged problems between them. After all, they spent 20 years together and are too big legends to make some scandals.
The Bucs defense showed a lot of weaknesses in the past few matches, but knowing that they usually have a slow start of the season, we might expect to see improvement as time goes by. Patriots are a perfect victim for some boost of morale with young Mac Jones at QB.
Jones Meeting His Predecessor
Sunday will be the night when Mac Jones gets to realize what his task is. When Brady comes out on the field, and the crowd becomes wild and euphoric, at that moment, this kid will see whose shoes he needs to fill. Brady is the walking legend, and we are more than sure that Jones would accept right away to end the career with one-third of TB’s legacy.
Now, last week, Jones met the New Orleans Saints defense. They picked him three times, and sacked two more. It was a reality check for the rookie who learned what it is like to be rolled over by one top-10 defense in the league.
On the other side, the Pats’ defense is good, allowing just 17 points per match and with far better chemistry than the attack. They will for sure be a better part of the team on Sunday.
Buccaneers vs. Patriots Prediction and Pick
The spread on the Buccaneers is -7, and in our opinion, they should be able to cover it. Jones will once again have problems with strong defense, which will no doubt affect the final score. Despite Bill knowing Brady very well, he won’t be able to slow him that in that measure to cover up his offensive struggles.
Pick: Bucs -7
