The Green Bay Packers travel to Tampa Bay to meet Brady and the bunch.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers Preview
The perfect Green Bay Packers face their biggest challenge yet in Tampa Bay, where Buccaneers await the guests from Wisconsin with only one thing on their mind – victory. Tom Brady and his crew are in a must-win situation, and they don’t have too many options. Losing this contest would bring them in a very problematic position. On the other side, Aaron Rodgers and the Packs had a week bye and are now ready to extend their good run.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers Odds
Bucs | -118 | 55.5 O/U |
Packs | -103 | 55.5 O/U |
Test for the Bucs
Tampa Bay would lose its opening game in New Orleans, only to win the next three. The rivals during that victorious streak were Panthers, Broncos, and the Chargers, and many suggest that Bruce Arians’ team had an easy schedule over those three weeks.
As a proof, they would take the loss in Chicago last week, 20-19, where the Bears’ tough defense didn’t allow Brady to get into his usual rhythm.
The problem for the Bucs is that they only had Ronald Jones at the running back position. He did the job correctly, 17 carries and 106 yards, but Tampa Bay needs to see Leonard Fournette at his best ASAP; otherwise, Jones won’t be able to take this workload for too long.
Aaron Duo on the Rise
There is no problem with the Packs’ offense as long as their QB-RB Arron duo plays well. So far, these guys have been magnificent, with Rodgers delivering 13 TD passes, and on the other side, Jones posting four rushing and two receiving scores.
Aaron Rodgers has 1214 yards thrown so far and is one of the top MVP contenders. Jones has 374 yards on the ground and could be again one of the most efficient guys in the entire NFL.
On the other side, each week, one new Packer face jumps out to help his team win a match. After Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the game against the Falcons, we saw Robert Tonyan, who had three touchdowns, becoming the hero of a 30-16 MNF win.
Head to Head Matches
The last time these two sides met was on December 3, 2017, at Lambeau. The Packers won that match, 26-20.
Prediction
This will be the clash between arguably two of the best quarterbacks in the last decade. Brady is under pressure, because most of the Bucs’ fans had surreal expectations since his arrival. Many were hoping to see a 16-0 season with him, Gronk, and Fournette. But this is the NFL, and the reality is different.
What could be expected from this match? First of all, lots of points. The limit for over/under is set at 55. Even though both teams went under recently, we’re picking over the proposed limit in this case. Arians will go all-in with his offense against the Packs, because relying upon defense against a guy like Rodgers would be insane.
