Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Preview
The Steelers won’t have mercy for the injured Dallas Cowboys, as they crave to continue with their unbeaten stretch. Mike Tomlin and his boys are high on morale, especially following a win over the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional derby last week. Meanwhile, the Cowboys’ chances of reaching the playoffs are fading away, with both of their QBs sidelined due to injuries. Unfortunately, this will probably be another frustrating season for the “America’s team.”

Dallas’ Tough Times
The Cowboys were one of the potential Super Bowl winners before the start of the campaign. And the way they started playing suggested that we might see them clicking and exploding at some point. Dak Prescott was superb, and playing at the highest possible level, but his injury disrupted everything.
However, the Cowboys had another experience QB in their team, Andy Dalton, but one cheap shot from Washington’s Jon Bostic wrote off the former Bengals’ leader.
Ben DiNucci stepped in as the replacement for both. The seventh-rounder and a rookie didn’t have a notable record against the Eagles, throwing 180 yards without a TD pass or an interception, but did lose two fumbles and was sacked four times.
Ezekiel Elliott was disappointed with 19 rushes for 63 yards.
Steelers Terrorizing the League
Pittsburgh was victorious in Baltimore, and although Ravens had some injury troubles, that isn’t diminishing the Steelers’ success at all. This team has the best defense in the league, with the highest number of sacks and one of the best running stoppers.
Watt, Dupree, and Fitzpatrick are ruthless and constant throughout the entire 60 minutes, not allowing the rivals to feel comfortable at all.
James Conner has five rushing TDs in 110 carries and after 498 yards on the ground, while rookie WR Chase Claypool caught the same number of scores, with 375 yards on 23 receptions. The youngster’s form is going upward, and over the past few weeks, he has been one of the team’s best players.
Of course, everything in offense starts from the two-time Super Bowl champion Ben Roethlisberger, who is solid for now, with 15 touchdown passes and four interceptions.
Head to Head Matches
These two powerhouses met 32 times, three of those games in Super Bowls. The Steelers are 2-1 in that series, but the Cowboys are better overall, 17-15.
The last time these two franchises met in November 2016, and back then, the Cowboys won the game on the road, 35-30.
Prediction
The Steelers need to cover a 14.5-point spread. When looking at Dallas’s current situation, that is more than realistic because of a few things. The moral is low, and the players don’t have the motivation to fight. Meanwhile, DiNucci will be an easy target for the Steelers’ defense, which harassed much better QBs than the rookie.
We predict an easy and pretty confident victory of the guests, so by all means, do bet on them to cover the spread.
