The pressure will be back on Nottingham Forest in the race to secure points to ensure safety in the Premier League. They have recently been docked points, leaving them inside the bottom three spots ahead of this showdown with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Before Betting On Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace

Nottingham Forest face an uncertain future in the Premier League at this stage of the season after dropping into the relegation places following the decision to deduct points. That means that the East Midlands club come into this round of fixtures sitting a point adrift from safety, and huge issues remain surrounding their recent form in the competition.

Forest come into this round after winning just once in their last five matches, while they have suffered defeats in three of their last four. Only the three sides either side of them have recorded less victories so far this season, while Forest also boast the fifth worst attacking record in the top-flight. They were held to a 1-1 draw in their previous fixture by Luton Town.

Crystal Palace may still have one eye on the relegation battle, as they are currently just eight points clear of the drop zone. However, they should have enough of a cushion to look forward to another season in the Premier League. The Eagles come into this round after winning just once across their last five, but they have picked up four points from their last three matches.

Interestingly, Palace’s latest match in the Premier League was also against Luton Town, with the sides playing out a 1-1 draw. However, the Eagles had themselves to blame for not claiming maximum points in that clash after holding a 1-0 advantage until the sixth minute of second half injury time.
