Nottingham Forest have been the surprise package in the Premier League so far this season.

The Tricky Trees moved into the top-three of the Premier League standings for the first time since September 1998 last weekend with a dominant 3-0 win over West Ham at the City Ground.

A fourth straight win this Sunday could see them end the round within three points of the summit.

Newcastle bounced back to form in their previous outing after upsetting Arsenal at St. James’ Park. The Magpies will still have European aspirations of their own this term, and they could end the round as high as fourth.

Odds

Despite their excellent form this season, Nottingham Forest will be the outside selection on the moneyline at +184. An away win for Newcastle will be preferred at +163.

Away wins have been a common trend when these sides have collided across all competitions, with each of the last four being won by the travelling team.

Newcastle have already won at the City Ground in the EFL Cup this term, and they have now won on their last three visits across all competitions.

Forest’s latest home win against the Magpies was recorded back in December 2016 in the Championship.

 Nottingham Forest vs. Newcastle Prediction

Forest have really caught the eye across the opening months of the new season, and their moneyline odds could be too good to overlook this weekend.

Newcastle may be fatigued after their win over Arsenal last Saturday, and their defensive approach will allow Forest to play to their strengths in front of their home fans at the City Ground.
