Both Nottingham Forest and West Ham are desperate to win three points because they simply need to. Otherwise, these teams will fall even deeper into a crisis. Recent losses and failures hurt the morale in the locker room and the stands, which is why a defeat here is unacceptable.

Before Betting on Nottingham Forest vs. West Ham

Forest has only one win in the last six events, which was against Bristol City in the replay of the FA Cup meeting. Even that victory came following the penalties, and it wasn’t a product of a good game. Compared to the start of the year, Nottingham’s performances have deteriorated, but the efficiency of their matches hasn’t.

Seven of the last ten have seen over 2.5 goals, while on the other side, only one during that stretch didn’t end with goals on both ends. The former European champs are offensive, and even though that takes a toll on defense, Forest isn’t changing its approach.

West Ham is in a slump. The Hammers have seven straight meetings without a victory, losing three times and posting four ties. However, the past two events were extremely traumatic for the team from London. At first, they lost 3-0 at Old Trafford against United, and after that, suffered a historic humiliation in its own home.

Arsenal crushed the Hammers 0-6 in what was arguably West Ham’s worst performance at the London Stadium. The fans were already exiting at halftime, while players looked stunned on the pitch, not having any answers on slowing down the rivals.

Forest’s games are filled with goals on both ends and more or less, so are West Ham’s. Since both teams are in crisis, we wouldn’t bet on the full-time result but turn to both teams scoring, as it looks like the most realistic option.
