The Nuggets have one win and one loss on their tour so far, beating the Pelicans on the road but losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin afterward, 107-99. However, Mike Malone couldn’t count on four of his five starters, Jokic, Murray, KCP, and Porter Jr.
Still, the team from Colorado managed to put in a decent effort. Aaron Gordon played an excellent game, with 26 buckets and 14 boards, while Bones Hyland added 15 points off the bench. It was very important for Malone to see his non-starters contributing on the defensive side, and despite losing, managing to limit the hosts to 107 points.
The 76ers have six wins in a row, five on the road. Embiid and the guys were on tour through the West, California mostly, beating the Jazz, Lakers, Clippers, Blazers and Kings. Most recent was against the Brooklyn Nets, but that one was at home, 137-133.
Three players had 20+ buckets, Embiid 26 and 10 boards, Maxey 27 and Harden 23. Tobi Harris scored 18, while DeAnthony Melton ended the contest with 19.
