The Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets clash in one of the crucial games for the Western Conference playoff picture.

Before Betting on the Nuggets vs. Suns

Denver is first in the West, but following last night’s loss to the Pelicans at home, they could be endangered by Memphis if things go wrong. The schedule is not kind towards the Nuggets, who, for instance, have two games against the Suns on the road.

The Nuggets lost last night against the pelicans at home, with Nikola Jokic sitting out this one due to a calf strain. Jamal Murray failed to replace the Joker, delivering 21 points, while Michael Porter Jr. had only 10, 0-for-7 from the field.

Kevin Durant is back on the floor, and the former MVP scored 16 points in his return against the Minnesota Timberwolves. His appearance will be a major boost for the team and also, a significant plus in the rotation, which was heavily shortened following the trades and KD’s injury.

The Suns won three games in a row, beating the 76ers, the Jazz and most recently, the Minnesota Timberwolves. They look on the rise, and right now, they have to win each game until the end of the year, because their playoff spot is under heavy pressure. Just a couple of wins separate them and the play-in place.

Denver will be tired after last night, even if they have Jokic, which is why betting on the Suns sounds more reasonable.
