The Boston Celtics host the Oklahoma City Thunder in a battle of two title contenders. Boston has been a powerhouse in the East for quite some time, constantly going deep into the playoffs, but never all the way. OKC is the new force in the league, and they want it all, and want it now.

OKC is on tour throughout the East Coast, and after beating the New York Knicks in Maddison, 113-112, they lost to the Philadelphia 76ers 109-105 in the City of Brotherly Love. They are still in contention for the top spot in the West, even though the latest loss pushed them behind the Nuggets.

Boston had a six-game road tour and is now back home. We saw them triumph in four contests and post two losses, both to the Hawks in Atlanta, both were awfully close, one even after overtime. Yet, all this didn’t hurt the Cs’ position in the standings, as Joe Mazzulla’s crew still holds the top of the East.
Jaylen Brown is out for this one, or at least there isn’t any confirmation he might be in the protocol tonight. The Cs had no problems in beating the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina. Jaylen Brown didn’t play, but Sam Hauser covered up that, hitting seven threes and scoring 25 points. Tatum had the same number of buckets with 10 boards, while Kristaps Porzingis delivered 20 and Derrick White one fewer.
