Dallas Mavericks come back home with one break on the road in OKC. The Thunder hasn’t been in such a situation until now, and we will see their mentality tested at the American Airlines Center.

Before Betting on OKC Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks Game 3

For the first time this year, the Thunder lost in the playoffs. They were stunned at home, with the Mavs winning 119-110 and stealing their home-court edge. Their defense was extremely poor, and after Game 1, when they allowed 95 points, OKC collapsed on that side of the ball.

Shai did his part, scoring 33 points and adding 12 boards and eight assists, but apart from Jalen Williams, who had 20 buckets, no one else helped. Chet Holmgren had 11 points, six assists, and boards, while the bench contributed 30 buckets, most of them in garbage time.

Luka had 29 points, ten boards and seven assists, hitting five threes and going mad following one scary fall in the first half. He would hit his face to the floor but quickly came up, recovered, and went berserk. He had unexpected help from PJ Washington, who dropped seven threes in 11 attempts for 29 points, plus the forward got 11 rebounds.

Tim Hardaway Jr came off the bench to score 17 points, while Kyrie had only nine. But Uncle Drew played the entire game as a true playmaker, assisting on 11 occasions and contributing on the defensive end with two steals and two blocks, the most in Dallas.

Dallas is a slight favorite, and we really believe they are going to win this event. Why? The Thunder faces pressure and a deficit (lack of home-court edge) for the first time, and playing under pressure is Dallas’ thing. Plus, the home fans will play a significant role here.
