The OKC Thunder have a nice chance to sweep the New Orleans Pelicans tonight, with the top seed in the East having a 3-0 lead in the series. The Pels are playing at home, but the last time these two units met, that didn’t mean much.
Before Betting on OKC Thunder vs. New Orleans Pelicans
The Thunder was routine in the previous two events, not allowing the rivals to make these two contests anywhere near competitive. OKC would immediately impose its own tempo and pace, dictating the situation on the court from the tip-off.
Game 3 in New Orleans saw a 106-85 victory for the guests, who won every single quarter. They again played hard defense, which was the reason for such a triumph, and for instance, the Thunder forced 20 turnovers. Chai had 24 points, while Jalen Williams and Josh Giddey delivered 21 each. Williams had nine boards and five assists, while Giddey added eight boards and six dimes.
We haven’t seen the Pelicans this bad in a while. First of all, their shooting percentages are awful, and they constantly struggle from deep. In Game 3, they were 9-for-32, which isn’t anywhere near decent. Again, we saw CJ McCollum performing poorly, having 16 points, yet shooting 7-for-22 from the field, and losing six possessions.
Brandon Ingram was once more under 20 points, having one fewer, Herb Jones scored 15, while Trey Murphy III had 10. The bench contributed with 18 points, of which Larry Nance Jr. scored half, with the big fella grabbing 13 boards.

The Thunder was very stable in the previous three contests, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. They held the Pelicans under 95 points in all three events, limiting them in all the areas on the floor. That’s why we simply have to take them to win the fourth clash as well.
