The tennis finals at the Paris 2024 Olympics are as expected. On one side of the legendary Philippe Chatrier court will be Carlos Alcaraz, the leader of the young generation of players, while on the other is Novak Djokovic, the emperor whose reign slowly reaches its end and who chases the GOAT status.

Alcaraz was terrifying against Felix Auger-Aliassime, leaving only two games to the Canadian player, who lost just one set until the finals. This magnificent performance erased all those struggles Carlos showed against Griekspoor and Paul.

We have to remind everyone that the Spaniard won the title here in Paris two months ago, when he defeated Alexander Zverev in the finals, though, following a tough battle.

Novak rose to the occasion again, beating Lorenzo Musetti for the third time this summer. He was better than the Italian in straight sets, leaving a much better impression than at Roland Garros a couple of weeks ago when they played in five sets.

Djokovic’s knee looked well, and we haven’t seen him losing pace or slowing down because of the injury he reaggravated against Stefanos Tsitsipas. For the moment, it seems that Djokovic plays tennis at the highest possible level, but the true test of this will be in the finals.

Carlos Alcaraz vs. Novak Djokovic Head to Head

So far, these two have played six matches, with the current result being a tie – three wins each. However, Carlos holds the bragging rights as he defeated Novak in the most recent event, which was in London, 3-0, smashing Novak like just a few players before.

Carlos is a big favorite, and we must admit that his tennis is better than Novak’s. His intensity might become a problem for Novak’s knee, so we pick the Spaniard to win.
