Before Betting On Olympics Women’s 400m Hurdles Winner

The Women’s 400m Hurdles is the longest hurdle event to be staged at the Olympics, making it one of the most gruelling events on the track to land the gold medal. This event has been staged at the multi-sport event since 1984, and is widely considered to be the most prestigious medal in the women’s hurdles division.

The betting for the event this year is dominated by American superstar Sydney McLaughlin, who comes to Paris as the defending Olympic champion. She is undeniably the star in the hurdles event, smashing four world records in the space of 13 months. In the process, she became the first female to run sub-51 seconds in June 2021.

After winning the silver medal at the World Championships in 2019, she has dominated the field across recent years. She was a double Olympic champion in Tokyo, winning golds in both the 400m hurdles and the 4 x 400m relay. She also enters the Olympics this year after winning hold at the World Championships in 2022.

Femke Bol is a generational talent, with the Dutch star achieving success over hurdles and 400m. Bol won the bronze medal at the 2020 Olympics, but comes into this summer as the reigning world champion after winning gold in Budapest last year. She also added World Indoor Championship gold to her collection after landing the 400m earlier this year.
