With all due respect to LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, the 2023 Heisman Trophy could come down to who performs better on Friday night between Oregon QB Bo Nix and Washington signal caller Michael Penix, Jr. Oh by the way, the Pac-12 Championship is on the line as is a likely berth in the College Football Playoff to whoever wins what should be a thrilling game in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Before Betting on Oregon vs Washington
We will see if the Pac-12 Championship Game can deliver, because this almost feels like a playoff game. The only loss for #5 Oregon (11-1) came to #3 Washington (12-0) 36-33 back in week 7. That wasn’t a bad showing for the Ducks considering they were on the road at Husky Stadium, so we will see what changes when the rematch shifts to a neutral site.
Both star QBs were great in the first matchup between these two teams. Nix was 33/44 for 337 yards with 2 TDs while Penix, Jr. only hit on 22/37 passes, but still threw for 302 yards with 4 TDs. Combined these two quarters have thrown for 69 TDs this year against 10 INTs which is why they are both Heisman Trophy contenders.
This will be the last Pac-12 Championship Game for the conference as we know it, as all but two schools are exiting next season. Both Oregon and Washington will be taking their talents to the Big Ten, so each wants to go out with bragging rights as well as set the tone for a new rivalry with new opponents in 2024.

Oregon vs Washington Prediction & Pick
Both Oregon and Washington can throw the football all over the field, they are the #1 and #2 passing teams in the nation. Although Penix has been great for Washington, the X-factors for this game are the Ducks rushing attack (189.7 ypg) as well as a much better defense (15th in the nation in total yards allowed). Oregon gets revenge and heads to the playoff.
