One of the other games on tap from Saturday night’s NBA slate features the Indiana Pacers hosting the Phoenix Suns. Our Pacers vs Suns prediction foresees Indiana coming away with the win.

Pacers Looking For Second Straight Victory

Following back-to-back losses against the Oklahoma City Thunder (120-114) and the Boston Celtics (142-105), the Pacers have won two of their previous three games, including a 128-115 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday night. Tyrese Haliburton scored a team-high 33 points and handed out 15 assists. He also knocked down six of his 13 attempts from beyond the arc.

Myles Turner added 21 points and five rebounds, while Pascal Siakam contributed 18 points, 11 boards, and four dimes on 8-for-13 shooting from the floor. Miami got within 14 points early in the third quarter. But thanks to a 6-0 outburst in just 30 seconds, the Pacers went on to win by a double-digit margin despite the Heat outscoring them by a 32-21 margin in the final frame.

Can The Suns Get Back Into The Win Column?

After an impressive 110-100 win against the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day, the Suns have dropped each of their last three contests. This includes a 117-112 setback against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Kevin Durant put together a solid all-around performance. He scored 29 points along with 10 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks.

Tyus Jones added 21 points and four rebounds. Devin Booker chipped in with 16 points and nine assists but shot 4-for-20 from the floor and 2-for-8 from 3-point range. Although they trailed by as many as 14 points in the first half, the Suns battled back to cut the lead to four points late in the fourth quarter. But a three-point play by John Konchar pushed the lead back to seven points, enabling the short-handed Grizzlies to hold on for a five-point victory.

Pacers vs Suns Prediction: Indiana Gets Third Straight Win Against Phoenix

In addition to their win over a Heat squad that shot 57 percent from the field, the Pacers have produced seven wins in their last 10 outings. They have also won the previous two matchups in this interconference series.

On the other side of this matchup, The Suns are struggling, and that’s putting it nicely. Following a decent 12-8 start, Phoenix has gone just 3-9 in its previous 12 games. It is also worth noting that the team’s recent loss was against a Grizzlies team with nine players out of the rotation due to injuries.

While the Suns have one of the most formidable scoring trios in the league, the Pacers have been the more consistent team, and they should get the “W” here.
