If there was ever a time for the Bears to prove that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t “own them” it would be Sunday at home on a cold day on the lakefront while Rodgers supposedly is dealing with a broken thumb. Green Bay (4-8) is having one of their worst years in recent memory but still have a 7-game head to head win streak over Chicago (3-9) in this supposed rivalry game.
Before Betting on Packers vs Bears
Rodgers reportedly has a thumb and rib injuries, but that didn’t stop Green Bay from putting up 30+ points last week albeit in a 40-33 loss at Philadelphia. Rodgers was 11/16 for 140 yards with 2/2, but he gave way to Jordan Love late in the 3rd and he went 6/9 for 113 and a TD pass.
Rodgers is banged up but he’ll want to play every snap he can against a Bears defense that has allowed at least 27 points in all five games during their current 5-game losing stretch. Sunday’s game is the season finale between the two teams – perhaps the last time Rodgers ever faces Chicago wearing the green and gold – as the Packers beat the Bears 27-10 earlier this season at Lambeau.
Chicago has some injury concerns at the QB position themselves, with Justin Fields sitting out last week’s 31-10 loss to the Jets. Fields is going to try and give it a go on Sunday even through a nagging left shoulder injury and on a bitter 30 degree day. Fields has had a lot of success running the football lately, and that could be a weakness of Green Bay’s after they let the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts scamper for 157 yards last week.

Packers vs Bears Prediction & Pick
It’s forecasted to be a very cold day in Chicago, but both teams are also used to this weather this time of year. Rodgers – or Love – should be able to pick apart this Bears defense but at the same time Green Bay just gave up 363 rush yards to the Eagles last week meaning Chicago will find some holes as well. All that adds up to a nice high scoring game.
