One of the rising UFC sensations, Paddy Pimblett, meets Jared Gordon in the co-main event of this weekend’s UFC 282. This promises to be a very good lightweight event, and the winner of this one could easily end up in a title-eliminator clash, or the main event.
Before Betting on UFC 282 Pimblett vs. Gordon
Paddy Pimblett (19-3) is one of the most beloved guys in the UFC right now, due to his personality and honest appearance. Though, he earned that because of his ferocious approach in the ring, beating the rivals one after another, we need to add pretty easily.
Paddy has five wins in a row, all via stoppage, and all his three appearances in the UFC earned the Performance of the Night bonuses. He is a very strong puncher, but we won’t be wrong when we say that his primary weapon is grappling and submitting the rivals.
Jared Gordon (19-5) had a few tries to enter the elite of the UFC lightweights, but each attempt ended with his loss. One such was in 2019 when Charles Oliveira submitted him, and previously he lost to Carlos Diego Ferreira and Joaquim Silva.
Gordon is a very stubborn and durable fighter, who didn’t lose a single battle when it reached a decision, and all 11 of them went in his favor. However, he tends to be reckless once attacking in the standup, suffering four KO-losses, which suggests that he knows to leave his chin open.

This might be the biggest fight for Paddy so far, and he obviously lacks experience compared to Gordon, but on the other side, as a fighter, he is much more versatile and equipped than his rival. That’s why we expect Pimblett to win.
