The inaugural UFL season has finally reached the postseason! This semifinal matchup faces a clash between the Michigan Panthers (7-3) and the Birmingham Stallions (9-1). The winner will claim the USFL conference title and a spot in the title game. These two teams faced off last week, with the Stallions emerging victorious, 20-19.
Before Betting on Panthers vs Stallions
The Panthers capped off a solid first season in the UFL at 7-3. They faltered in the final matchup of the regular season to the Stallions, who defeated them by 1 point. Fortunately, that game ended up having few meaningful implications. This week, Michigan will get a rematch against Birmingham, this time with elimination and a championship trip on the line. QB Danny Etling will aim to bounce back from a tepid performance in Week 10.
Birmingham bounced back after losing for the first time this season in Week 9. The win over Michigan on Saturday improved the Stallions to 9-1. After dominating the USFL prior to the merger with the XFL, the Stallions remained on top of the USFL teams. They’ll be aiming to pick up a second straight win against the Panthers to earn the chance to prove they’re the best of the XFL as well. Birmingham’s defense has been stellar all season.
Panthers vs Stallions Offshore Odds
The UFL saw both of its playoff matchups get a practice match in last week, with the playoff teams facing the same matchup two weeks in a row. On the USFL side of the league, the Stallions posted a nearly perfect record, but came close to losing to Michigan last week. That being said, Birmingham had clinched at that point, and had little to compete for. With the stakes amplified this week, the Stallions should win it at home by a TD.
