Our prediction for Patriots vs. Jets in the NFL is for the team from New York to win.

The two meet in this week’s Thursday Night Football, so prepare to see Aaron Rodgers in prime time again.

Jets posted their first win of the season and Rodgers’s first with the franchise. The Patriots, on the other hand, had a fierce fight with the Seattle Seahawks, losing the game following an OT.

Patriots vs. Jets Head-to-Head Stats

The two division rivals have met 130 times so far.

The Patriots have the better record, winning 74 and losing 55. One game between the two sides ended a tie.

Before Betting

The Patriots are looking much better than expected, but the latest blow can severely damage their morale. Jason Myers hit a 31-yard field goal that snatched an OT win at Gillette Stadium, handing the side their first defeat of the year.

New England’s secondary fell apart, allowing 327 passing yards, while on the other side, their QB Jacoby Brissett only had 149 yards through the air. The run game was solid, as the Pats recorded 185 yards on the ground; however, it was not enough to win this tight contest.

Elsewhere, the New York Jets had a challenging game in Nashville, defeating the Tennessee Titans 24-17. The man of the match was Braelon Allen, who had one rushing and one receiving touchdown for the Jets. Aaron Rodgers was quiet, throwing for only 176 yards, although he did register two scores.

We have to credit Will McDonald IV for Sunday’s performances. The strong defensive end sacked Will Lewis three times, putting extraordinary pressure on Tennessee’s young quarterback, who alone had two turnovers.

Patriots vs. Jets Prediction

Division games are always very intense and we expect the same here. However, with the Jets finally winning and now coming back home to play in front of their fans, we have to pick them to beat the Patriots.
