Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall are in a title eliminator and the co-main event at the UFC 295, set for this Saturday. The two guys are among the best heavyweights in the world, and whoever triumphs here will get the opportunity to attack the division title.

Before Betting on Pavlovich vs. Aspinall

Pavlovich is on a six-bout streak that saw him beat guys like Derrick Lewis, Curtis Blaydes, and Tai Tuivasa. Each and every victory he had took place in the opening round, and it ended following a disastrous KO. In his career, the Russian had 18 victories and one loss (vs. Overeem) in his first UFC appearance.

He is a terrific puncher, maybe the strongest in the UFC at the moment (following Ngannou’s departure), and so far, we have seen him smash his rivals with fierce hooks and jabs. Pavlovich improved his wrestling in recent times, but he doesn’t have too much knowledge in that area, we need to be honest about that.

Aspinall might be more well-rounded than his rival, but his physical attributes are slightly inferior. He, too, is a fantastic puncher, and of his 13 victories, 10 came via KO and three after a submission. Since coming to the UFC, Aspinall’s record has been impressive. All but one win was earned in the first round.

The Englishman had been on the rise before Pavlovich, but his injury against Curtis Blaydes has slowed down his title quest. After bouncing back with a win over Marcin Tybura, he was the logical choice for the title eliminator, and we’ll see if he is ready for such a big step.

Pavlovich is two inches shorter than his rival but has a six-inch longer reach, which is a huge advantage for the Russian. Solely because of that, we pick him to triumph here, despite Aspinall’s above-mentioned versatility.
