The upcoming UFC Fight Night 222 revolves around the heavyweight clash between Sergei Pavlovich and Curtis Blaydes.

Before Betting on Pavlovich vs. Blaydes

The Russian giant has arguably the strongest punch in the UFC, and we’ve seen that in the recent past once he dissolved Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis. His current record is 17 wins and one loss, that coming to Alistair Overeem, who beat the Russian in his UFC debut.

His main weapon in the octagon are steel fists, able to hurt any rival standing across him. Pavlovich may not be as slick nor elegant as some other guys in the division but is a brutal force of nature that breaks anything which stands in his way.

Blaydes has tried to enter the elite of the heavyweight division for the past few years, and he has posted some pretty remarkable results, but in the decisive moments, Razor would always run into a KO punch that would end the fight. It was like that against Ngannou, and Lewis as well.

He is the best wrestler among the nig guys, with plenty of notable victories, like vs. Overeem, Dos Santos, Rozenstruik, Aspinal, etc. His cardio is very solid, but on the other side, he isn’t very good when it comes to protecting his chin.

A big advantage for Pavlovich here is his one-punch KO power, and even though Blaydes somehow manages to impose his fight style, the Russian will still have a much better chance to win, which is why we pick him in this battle.
