Before Betting On PGA Championship Top Ten

The PGA Championship is the second major on the golf schedule this season, and there will be huge pressure on a number of the players toward the top of the betting. Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler will both have leading chances according to the odds, with the former winning the previous edition of the event when it was held at Valhalla.

However, none of the top players in the outright market appear to offer much value in the top ten betting market, meaning that bettors can get slightly more creative with their picks. Joaquin Niemann could be worth another shot this weekend, with the LIV Tour player underwhelming at the Masters last month. But, he remains hugely consistent on the Saudi-backed tour this year.

Tommy Fleetwood also looks an interesting selection in the top ten betting this weekend. Fleetwood has finished in the top ten in eight major tournaments, which includes an excellent tie for fifth in the 2022 edition of the PGA Championship. However, that was his only finish in the desired places at the major.

Cameron Young has been one of the most consistent players in the majors throughout his career, finishing in the top ten on five occasions from eleven appearances. That includes an excellent finish in a tie for third at the 2022 PGA Championship.
